Our Director, Yolanda Ruiz, has been at our school for over fourteen years, and has served as the Director since 2002. During her tenure at the school, she has worked closely with our Founding Director Morgan Graham and maintains a close relationship with her. Moreover, Yolanda is certified by the State of California as a Mentor Teacher and our school serves as a training site for students from both Los Angeles City College and Cal State L.A. Speaking about her role as a teacher, Yolanda shares: “Working with children is truly a blessing. I believe it's the most rewarding job ever. Never a dull moment.”

Born in El Salvador and raised in Los Angeles, Adela Lemus brings a wonderful warmth to the school community. She has always wanted to be a teacher and it shows in her smile. “The best part of my job as a teacher is being able to see their faces for the first time when they accomplish something new.”

Katie O'Donnell, Associate Director, was born and raised in Los Angeles. She has been studying Early Childhood Development at Los Angeles City College for the past 2 years. She did her student teaching at All Children Great and Small with Yolanda as her Mentor. She continues to take early childhood development classes at night and is very excited to be part of the ACGS family. She absolutely loves traveling and tries to go to a new country every year. She has been all over Mexico, Europe, and the USA. In the summer of 2006, she made her first trip to South America and visited Peru. Says Katie about teachng at ACGS: "Teaching these kids puts a smile on my face. I look forward to every word that comes out of their mouths. I feel like I am really doing something important in this world by teaching young children."
